Matshediso Phoshoko: Is the former Lead Engineer for the Oil and Gassing Research Group for the Powertech Transformers Group Technology function. She brings a wealth of engineering experience which includes transformer condition monitoring, research and development of design systems, the management of multi-disciplinary projects focusing on the establishment of test facilities and methodologies, performance optimisation, conducting technical audits at international supplier facilities as well as forensic investigations on transformers; for the full transformer spectrums and shunt reactor. Matshediso started with the same organisation as an Engineer in Training in 2009. Matshediso is a registered professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and was recently appointed the Lead of the high voltage (HV) research committee for the power and energy section (PES) of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineering (SAIEE). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical) degree in Electrical Engineering.
